The Importance of Knowing Ourselves

If we don't know ourselves we:
lie prey to outside definitions of who we are which don't fit
are easily won over by stupid reasoning (thus isn't reasoning at all)
typically lack self-confidence
might fake confidence which is usually snaked out and thus embarrassing
let others define what is important to us
don't know what is important to us
might be bored
might be boring
tend to not know where we stand politically
could have our rights taken away from us
might likely don't get to know others very well
usually don't set up goals for ourselves
don't know what to say
typically make art that has nothing to say
just might give up
possibly be unfulfilled
may feel we have wasted our lives
